Protection circuit of Lithium Polymer battery
| Functions |
Overcharge Protection

Stops charging when the voltage exceeds the specified maximum value in order to prevent the battery from overheating or exploding due to overcharging.

Overdischarge Protection
Stops discharging when the voltage falls below the specified minimum value in order
to prevent degradation of the battery due to overdischarging.

Overcurrent Protection
Stops discharging when an abnomal current flows in the battery due to a fault in the device.

Short-circuit Protection
Promptly stops discharging when a large current of several tens of amps flows due to external shorting of the battery .
