Charging Characteristics

Lithium polymer battery generally are charged at a constant voltage and constant current method.The below figure shows charging characteristics.The battery can be charged approximately to a capacity of 90% of the rating after 1 hour,and about 99% after 1.5 hours.

Discharging Load Characteristics

The discharging load characteristics shown in below figure.The greater discharge current the lower discharge capacity results.

Cycle Characteristics

The cycle characteristics shown in below figure.As a lithium polymer battery is charged and discharged cyclically,the discharge capacity of the battery decreases by degrees, because of the aggravation of electrode materials, electrolyte, etc.After 500 cycles, the lithium polymer battery could still maintain approximately 80% of capacity.

Discharge Temperature Characteristics

The characteristics of low temperature test shown in below figure.At the low temperature discharge, both battery voltage and discharge capacity decrease.Although at -20°C, a discharge capacity of approximately 90% of that at 25°C is available.
